I love the taste of your honey.
Sometimes you just fly around
making a nice buzzing sound.
Through the summer,
through the spring
I hear a buzz buzz buzz
coming from your wings.
Although bees can sting
bees are a really cool thing!

I see insects over there underneath those rocks
and puppies over there playing with their clocks.

Searching for nuts.
Quick as lightning, quiet as a whisper.
Under the golden leaves of autumn,
In the hollow trunks of trees.
Reaching out for the final acorn.
Running along ​the tops of fences,
Evading the neighbour’s chasing dog.
Leaping home joyfully with a plump nut.

Hiding in bushes menacingly, listening to the rustling leaves

You are gentle but waiting for the moment to pounce
Ferocious and deadly

The fox is cunning
With piercing eyes that sear your soul
As you try to look away your are stuck
Petrified by those black beady eyes
It’s as if with one look you have crystallized
Made to be completely clear, transparent, naked.
You try to run but your feet remain firmly grounded.
Frozen in place
Forced to be judged by a creature that man has labelled dumb.
