I’m just a little snowman
White and round
Made with snow
That falls on the ground
Charcoal for buttons
A carrot for a nose
Twigs for fingers
But no toes.
When it’s cold
I want to play
When spring comes
I’ll go away!
Christmas is fun
We eat tons of buns
one by one
under the shy sun
and the company of Grandad
Who is sixty one
But listens to none
and he is always on the run.
Snowman, snowman round and white
I wonder what you do at night
Snowman, snowman let’s have fun
Before you melt in the warm spring sun
Winters are cold and everything turns white
And the birds enjoy their flight
I like to play with my friends with snow flakes
And want to eat a piece of cake
I trot and chuckle in the snow
And throw snow balls on people in a row
The nights in winter are chilly and long
And I love to sing winter songs.
The rustle of the sudden breeze
Sets the warm bodies at ease
The colours turn from green to red
On the autumn leaves
We yearn of getting in a warm bed
Everyone would have said
Then, as the cold and final weather sets in
The cold wind seems like a slight sting
First, a light relief,
Next, a frozen night
The sun tries to shine with all its might
But the power of the wind doesn’t let it go right
The clouds huddled over
The dark, gloomy ambiance
The clouds shower freezing snow
The clouds turn from green to yellow
On the fading grass
Then, the sheep have to be found
Camouflaged in the snow
Three months after winter’s harness,
The warmth returns again.
Winter’s going…….Winter’s gone!
I get out of bed and see the snow,
Falling down so gently and light.
I put on my mittens, as warm as three kittens.
I play in the snow til it’s night!
First gather some baubles,all perfect and glittery.
Next add a pinch of fairy dust, all glistening.
After that sprinkle some sparkling lights, flickering in the dusk
Finally add some shiny tinsel, reflecting the lights .
Serve with a cup full of excitement.
First crack an egg
Then mix shimmering snow in
And a pinch of sparkling fairy dust
Pour in hot chocolate
And then sprinkle baubles
Into the dazzling recipe
Then stir and finally add joy and happiness
Recipe for a Christmas tree
First gather a mix of baubles in a shimmer of light
Add a cup of decoration,
You will love its lights!
Pour a litre of fairy lights,
That dance around the tree.
