Atichoo! Atishoo!
You just blew off my hat.
And your sneeze
Bent my knees
And frightened the cat

I want to get a pet,
but my sisters would cry.
I don’t care which one,
only just not a fly.

Should it be big,
or should it be small?
Should it be short,
or should it be tall?

Maybe a reptile,
no not a newt.
Or an amphibian,
it has to be cute.

I’d like a horse,
or maybe a cat.
What about a turtle,
or an upside-down bat?

It could be a budgie,
it could be a frog.
No, I have decided,
I’ve got to have a DOG!
