Competition Entry

I’ve lost my best book
so I went for a bike ride
to follow my steps.
SUDDENLY!!!…
My bike collided with an enormous rock.
As I got knocked out
by lots of different shaped and sized rocks
I slid into a Dilapidated Mansion
and the door slammed.
That’s what woke me.
As I stood on the creaky oak floor
I walked through another pine door.
There the book was
in a dusty black drawer.
Then I was back home safe and sound!!!

Lock it, lock it
I  kept telling myself
I heard a yelling for help
“Wash the dishes” mother told me
It was erased from my mind

Lock it, lock it
Going to a guest’s house
and bring your treasure
you forgot to lock it

The box was unlocked
and my treasure gone forever
I’m done, it’s gone
Oh, I forgot to lock it

It’s all about being meaningless
Leaders turning speechless
Speaking restless
But valueless
Other public mannerless
While our people are jobless
Youths are dreamless
And planless
No helping just stupid and shameless
Bad attitude upon majority careless
No food people are fatless
People are crying endless
God will punish you merciless

I kicked it really high,
It went over the fence,
It went over the biggest hill ever.
It flew over the motorway,
It flew over Japan,
It flew over the whole of the Earth.
It went over the moon,
It went over the stars,
And it landed back in my garden!

When I lost little Lionel Messi I was in fright,
For he was the greatest of all time.
Maybe he simply flew away,
Gliding for the rest of his days.
Of course I’m sitting on him,
Uh oh,
He’s crumpled little Lionel Messi.

I lost my friend on the beach,
The sky started to turn peach.
I swam and swam in the sea,
I didn’t think she could see me.
I went back and made a sandcastle,
Oh, it was a lot of hassle.
Soon I started to miss her,
I found a dog and stroked its fur.
Finally she found me,
The next thing was  I lost was my key.

One day I went sailing, sailing out
to sea,
I went for a dive,
and I lost my flipperrrrrrrr…

Longingly I waited for them to call my name
Overwhelmed I’d be with pride and fame
Surprisingly and sadly it was someone else they called
Even though it was the true fact that I lost
Really I was a winner but the other person was a runner up…

I lost my pet,
we had just met.
I went to school,
I felt like a fool.
We all went to lunch,
I heard a kid munch.
When school was over,
I saw a clover.
I sneaked back in,
I hunted in the bin.
I searched in lost and found
and there was my hamster
looking around

I sat upon winter’s blanket,
winter’s icicle upon my nose

shivering beyond belief,
be it the winter lows

where is the bright beautiful and brilliant
the radiant, red and ruby sun?
