I heard some noises at night.
Oh boy oh boy, it gave me a fright.
I went to check it out at night.
I didn’t want to pick a fight
The floor was dripping with blood.
The roof was red it made me scared.
I went to the garden.
There was nothing but fog.
So I sat behind that log.
A ghost is coming.
I should hide now, maybe I should.
The voice is coming closer.
I ran upstairs.
The room was gloomy and dark.
Nothing like a spark.
There was dirt on the floor.
The ghosts were so horrifying.
I ran away and started crying.
Someone is at the door.
I opened the door.
I slammed it and fell on the floor.
I ran in the room.
I am doomed.
The ghost is in my house.
I hid like a mouse.
I couldn’t kill him.
He is already dead.
Please let me go.
Please let me go.
The ghost disappeared.
Like a flash.
I am free.
I am free
For now.

It is as orange as orange peel
What’s under the bed…
The Dream
The night was dark,
deep and dense,
the clouds had hid,
the moon on their way.
I was on bed,
counting the sheep,
waiting to sleep,
and see good dreams.
But as the clock struck 12,
nothing continued well,
the doors started banging,
and the wolves out crying.
This made me chill,
from my spine,
I tried to ignore
all I could.
suddenly I could feel something,
beside me ,
it lay on my side,
breathing and grinning.
I was cold,
from top to toe,
I could feel the breath,
cold and slow.
I could hear the laugh,
as if it was happy,
to see me frightened,
and was proud on him, being a ghost.
I was chanting prayers,
and begging to God,
to send an angel,
to move this devil
Suddenly
I heard mom calling,
“Wake up, wake up,
“it’s 10 in the morning.”
I was completely astonished,
to open my eyes,
and learning that,
all what happened was just a dream.
Haunted House
I slowly creep across the leafy floor,
Then I cautiously open the door.
When I enter this haunted house,
I hear a scuffling, but it’s just a mouse.
I hear a scream, it’s only an owl.
I saw the ghost of a cat on the prowl.
I want to run.
This is no fun!
I hear something small
Then a ghost jumps out of the wall.
I spotted a skeleton, it gave me a fright.
The door was locked, I pushed with all my might.
The Night Of The Full Moon
Witches are nasty and they are green,
The cold and dark during the night,
Not only that but there is nothing to be seen,
A life in this will give you more than a fright.
When you’re scared and there’s nothing to be seen,
When frights and shivers are going down your spine,
This is no joke like Halloween,
This is like a message, maybe even a sign.
When there’s something creeping towards you,
When the wolf is howling at the moon,
When you have no idea what to do,
You’ll have no idea what’ll happen to you soon.
You’re thinking animals would calm you down,
But then you’re thinking of the vampire bat,
Your thought of animals turns your smile to a frown,
But the worse is that your pet might be a witch’s cat.
Your nightmares will go around in a swirl,
Your life and visions would start to bend,
The trees outside sway and twirl,
The life of yours would come to an end.
Real Scary!
Witches are scary
And so are ghosts
But not as scary as…
Beans on toast!
Goblins are freaky
When they’re prancing
But not as freaky as…
My mum’s dancing!
Death is creepy
And frightening and big
But not as creepy as…
Peppa Pig!
Ghosts…
Sometimes grown ups tell you that ghosts aren’t real
Then you’ll hear a rustle
And then want a huggle
They tell you to settle down in your little bed
After red blood oozes out of your wall
Then you’ll feel a little, small touch
Your head turns back
Fingers are ready for attack
You run out of bed, flinging your duvet on the floor
Then you see some more
You think zombies roam the world
But nothing has proved they do…
Can you…?
Halloween
Why my Grandpa sleeps in the big wooden box in the cellar,
I don’t know, maybe he thinks there are zombies,
That will catch him in the night.
No, that’s not true,
is it?
Why won’t he sleep in his bed?
I ask him but he just shrugs,
I want to know why but he won’t tell.
