Competition Entry

The boy did a nativity play at his school. He dreamed of Santa coming to his school. He longed for Christmas day to come, with all the cheer and fun. He waited to dine at Christmas time. He wanted the sweets to for fill his Christmas dreams he waited for an angel to beam outside his Christmas decorated window. Then later that night at midnight he saw a deer. No, it was a REINDEER! Then he saw his eyes go down going to sleep. This is what he wanted to do, he wanted it to be morning. The stockings were filled with sweets and gifts. That’s what he got when he saw his stocking! His mum and dad’s hearts were filled with joy. But they got tough when he got impolite.

Snow and snow every day
Lovely Santa comes to play
Hang up your stocking for Christmas day!
Snowmen are nice, snowmen are cold,
Snowmen can survive the winter blow.
Enjoy the snowflakes in the sky
That lays the snow as winter’s nigh.
But when the snowman starts to melt
You will be by the fire thinking about him all day.

Once upon a time santa and his elves were working at the workshop because it was Christmas Eve night. One of the elves asked Santa if presents could be for elves and the children. He said No! Santa found out in the rule book that only children can have presents on Christmas. The elf got mad because he could not have presents. So he went on a small strike. Santa said Okay, but be back in a little bit. The elf said Okay. Then the rest of the elves said We’re going on a strike too, Santa. HO HO HO Okay… When they went on the strike they got lost on an iceberg. They floated away and ended up floating to a island. They got off of the iceberg and walked around the island to see what they could find, not realizing that they had to get back and make presents for all the children around the world. After walking around one of the elve’s watches started to blink to let him know how much time they had to left to get all the gifts ready and load Santas sleigh. They all became nervous and wondered how they were going to get back to the North Pole in time.. Well, while they were wondering how to get back, Santa was already on his sleigh with his magic candy cane. His magic candy cane showed him where all the elves were.. Santa arrived…. Oh Santa, we are so sorry that we were being selfish about getting presents. It’s alright as long as you all have learned your lesson, Santa said. Yes we have, said the elves, and we will never go on strike again… On the way back to the North Pole they all sang Christmas songs… They got back just in time to finish making presents… Santa was happy and CHRISTMAS WAS SAVED….

Santa clause is coming flying in his sleigh
All the kids are getting excited and shouting hooray
Rudolph and the other reindeer fly throughout the night
Lucky they can still see as Rudolph’s nose is so bright
The snow is glistening
Everyone’s listening
For bells that sound so delightful
And that morning after when the wether is so frightful
And that last present that is left for you
That one person who knew
You can trust Santa had been
And you are so keen
To find out what he could have left
He is the one person who knows you best

Life is like a flower you grow, live your life then more appear
Life should be free like a bird gliding in the sky
Life will always be a roller-coaster but…
When it’s that time of year when everyone’s happy
Smiling with joy… it can only mean one thing
CHRISTMAS!

Christmas is my favourite time
You can get lots of parents
You get to make a snowman
I wantt it to be like this all the time

Snowflakes drift slowly from the sky
I saw some naughty boys trying not to lie
Playful children enjoying the snow
Santa’s watching… Nobody knows
I wish I was at home, by the fire
But today was a day to admire
As I went home, I thought about
If Santa did ever shout?
Golden tinsel nicely glistening
Everybody is listening
For bells to ring
Listen out for Santa
He may be coming…

Cold like ice, our hands shiver
Hear the wind sing as snowflakes fall
Read St Nick’s story as the night falls
Ice shinning as winter begins
Smell the freshly cooked turkey
Tie the stockings to your fireplace
Music dancing as it goes round and round
Angels gracefully sitting at the top of the tree
Sing songs of joy as the sky darkens

make a sweet sound
as loud as an electric guitar
as nicely as a tweeting bird
so jingle bell, jingle

Christmas is a time to celebrate the lovely birth of Jesus
H is for the horrid memories to pass and the good memories to appear!
Rocking around the Christmas tree, having lots of fun and
dancing merrily like the old fashion way!
Icicles hanging down from the chimney and freezing the summer!
Santa Clause is busy at this time of the year but he delivers everything you wish for!
The reindeer are flying with happiness and Rudolph is leading the way!
M is for more wishes than you can imagine and hope you have a Merry Christmas!
