Santa

Zooming through the sky,
Father Christmas lost some gifts,
Some children were sad.

Christmas is Here

‘Twas the day before Christmas
Santa was working in his cool workshop
I would like a brilliant laptop
I was getting ready for bed
When I just thought, Let’s
Go to the kitchen
To get some carrots and pie
I wish for a cool tie
And I looked at my brother Kie
And I wished I could fly
I went to bed
And I bumped my head
On the edge of my bed
And I like to play dead
Five hours later
I woke up
And I heard bells ringing
I looked outside
And I saw Santa
He said, Ho ho ho
Merry Christmas
To all
And everyone good night.

Christmas

Christmas is the time of year, when everybody likes to cheer.
Where there’s lots of mail, from plane or sail.
Traffic jams as far as the eye can see, if we get out of this it would actually please me.
Listening to music in my head, while sipping cola in my bed.
Everybody likes Christmas, even Mr. Smith does.
Ash falling down the chimney, Santa’s going to come down all dingy.
The Christmas eve dinner is finally here, then Christmas is so near
Now time for the Christmas cheer.
Hip Hip Hooray

Dinner at Christmas

by Lola aged 9

At Christmas I ate
very late
it was all dark
when I ate the carp
as I ate out the pot
the soup was all hot.
Before we went to look under the tree
we ate lots of biscuits, especially me.

I waited for the knock
Clop, clop ,clop
Excited, I ran out the door
Hoping for more than I had seen before
I saw the presents with a shock
Started to think if they were good or not.

The lights were sparkling red and white
Despite the bobbles that looked like kites,
The night was over not a sound not a peep
As I fell calmly asleep.

My Christmas List

by Michael aged 10

My Christmas list is actually quite small.
I would only like a couple things at all.
Like an Xbox one, also a PS4.
A handful of games to play for
So that’s all I want, I’m not too greedy.
I wanted an iPad that will please me.
Please, please, please send me a note
In a bottle that can float
And one more thing if that’s too much for you
I would like a dancing elephant from you too.
So yeah, I’m finished so bye-bye from
Michael

Snowman

Christmas songs all day long
playing strong tunes
hear me speak
I am chosen as snowman of the week

Rudolf guiding Santa’s sleigh at night

I am a snowman in disguise
at night time I come alive
snowmen see me day after day
I am the only one melting today

Bauble

Here I am once again.
Looking at the tree it is quite plain.
On goes the star of course it’s first.
I’m so excited I’m going to burst.
On with the tinsel and then the lights.
I always knew they were the brights.
Up goes my friend with a name of Kyle.
I always told him he needs to smile.
Up I go right next to Ellie.
Gosh I never knew she was smelly.
On go the lights with a big pop.
I really hope that I don’t drop.
Zooming past is a fly.
Please don’t hit me or I’ll die.
It’s hit me with a boom.
Now I’m falling to my doom.
Here we are with the end of me.
I will now be heavenly.
Hitting the ground with a great big smash.
That is it as I went splash.
I’m now an angel looking over my friends.
Sooner or later they will reach their ends.

On a wonderful Christmas
you get to have so much fun
like opening your presents
and spending time with your family

My Christmas cat is soon to be
My Christmas cat means much to me
She has my heart, don’t you see?
I like her too and so do we

Christmas

Christ, he came on Christmas Day
Hallelujah is what we say
Ringing bells are a musical treat
Incense for the baby so sweet
Saviour, that’s his name you see!
Tinsel, wrapped around the tree
Messiah is another name!
Advent, the countdown to fame
Stockings, full of surprises, such joy!

CHRISTMAS is a time to enjoy!
