I’m a stir
I’m a star
I’m a pot
I’m a pig
I’m a coke
I’m a drink
I’m a food
what am I?

A Flood
There was a flood in Hurley
and a tiny bit of water inside our house
I was screaming so loudly
you could barely hear a mouse
I didn’t like one bit and I tried to take a pic
but I dropped my phone in the water
The police came to rescue us
and outside there were people canoeing
There was a flood in Hurley
And we had to leave our house
A Not So Typical Cinderella
Let us begin by talking about Cinderella,
Not your ordinary Cinderella, but a Cinderella who worked
Hard work is something she never shirked
When her evil step sisters went off to the ball
To prance and dance in the royal party hall
She did not fall back, and her made own gown
Her self-made accessories were, in fact, the best in town!
A strong girl, and not a hobbledehoy –
She decided to steal a horse from the neighbourhood boy!
He was wearing clothes that were black and white
That made him look poor, and not at all bright!
He was pepper-bearded and towered at a great height
While he was snoring on his big, big bed –
As it was ten at night in his head!
Cinderella snuck up to his majestic backyard
And stole his favorite pony – Mr. Barnyard!
She got on the pony, and rode away into the night!
She reached the royal palace, and saw the prince in his gleaming suit!
He was clad in a majestic top, and gold-buckled boots.
“You are wearing beautiful clothes, madam,” the prince said with a smile
“Where did you get them from? They’re bright like the River Nile!”
“I made them myself” said Cinderella with a grin –
“From rags and bits of cloth from the recycling bin”
The prince was surprised, and said “I could never make one in my life!”
“I am impressed by your dedication and strife!”
“I hire you as my royal tailor instantly” he said –
“Will you sew the quilts for my majestic bed?”
“It would be my honor to do it”
“But can I stay in the royal castle, for a little bit?”
The prince replied, with a soft chuckle –
“You’re here to stay forever in my home!”
“There are rooms and gardens for you to roam!”
Now Cinderella was the royal tailor, she jumped up and down in glee –
She was as happy as a golden bee!
Holiday At The 156-Storey Treehouse
I went on holiday to the 156-Storey Treehouse.
The place was so quiet you could hear a mouse.
Until…
Andy turned on the light
And Terry started a snowball fight.
Santa Clause crashed his sleigh into the tree,
While he was looking for his cookie.
Andy’s toolbox came in handy,
To fix this broken great big tree.
The best part of my holiday,
Was the bouldering alley I would say.
Instead of balls,
You use boulders and pray no one falls.
After a long busy day,
I was tired from all the play.
Andy and Terry were sleeping in the tree,
So now all you can hear was me.
A Boy in the Zoo
A boy in the zoo almost stepped in poo
But he didn’t have a clue
A boy in the zoo wanted to play
But instead he got the plague
A boy in the zoo wanted to go home
But all of a sudden he ended up in Rome!
Our Nature
I like nature,
It is our future.
Teacher gives us lectures,
For our future.
I like nature,
It is our future.
It has many things,
Animals, trees and birds with wings.
I like nature,
It is our future.
We have to save nature,
It will save our future.
Nativity Tradition
The story of Christ‘s birth
Is told every year
Yet it holds the same worth
And it still brings good cheer
The story of herdsmen
Tending to their flock
When angels from heaven
Caused them a great shock
The angels gave them news
Of a baby boy
Who was King of the Jews
And would bring the world joy
The story of King Herod
Sending wise men to find
The baby Son of God
Who troubled his mind
They followed a star
Shining bright in the sky
The guide from afar
Delighted the Magi
They found the King of Kings
Just as prophecy foretold
They gifted him many things
Like incense and gold
The story of Christ‘s birth
Is told every year
Yet it holds the same worth
And it still brings good cheer
The story of a Saviour
Born of a virgin
To die for our behaviour
And save us from sin
AB -My Autistic Brother
Poem for AB:
Abraham has been a blessing in this family.
When U start talking, me and U will be together happily.
Happily like two peas in a pod, each other’s halves, each other’s companions
and maybe be mum and dad’s new type of annoyance.
Ur eyes are something so innocent, innocent like heaven.
Ur smile is so adorable, so adorable my heart is sunken.
If I just look at U, my bravery and faith strengthen.
This angel that I call my brother, will turn nine and will be so divine.
Sometimes my anger will take control of me,
but that doesn’t stop me from loving of what’s mine.
MY sunshine in the day, my moon at night, I hope U have a wonderful birthday
and may God make Ur future nice and bright.
I wrote it for my nine year old Autistic non verbal brother Abraham.
