Rabbits gnawing carrots nearby
Birds letting out a happy cry
Pandas roaming for tasty food
Bears sleep, depending on their mood
Tortoises moving like a snail
Cheetahs running, catching animal mail
Octopi having their 8-arm shake
Elephants’ stomps begin to quake
Koalas hiding in their dens
Monkeys out of their peaceful Zen
Worms acting like small snakes
Frogs slurping in the nearby lakes.

Animals roaming here and there,
Each one is unique and rare.

Blue 55

Blue 55 is as chirpy as a bird,
Although he doesn’t have a herd!
Blue 55 is as big as a skyscraper.
He’ll always catch your eye,
His song is different to the rest
But he always tries his best
Blue 55 is a bold blue whale
Although he gets hit by fail

Hot foods are hot
hot, spicy hot
too hot for me
too hot for you

When you have chilies
that are too hot
you might wake up
with a hot flaming bot.

Do

by Jessica Rawe aged 10

Do, do
do, do that.
Do be kind
do pet the cat.
Who do they think I am?
Some kind of fool?
I’m not like that
I’m good in school.
So correct your mistake and apologise
and forever you’ll win the humanity prize
Enjoy your life ahead
or just stay
in
bed.

The Magic Pencil

0
by Benjamin Smith aged 8

Once upon a time
there was a happy, caring boy called Ben
who had a magic pencil.

He use it to help the needy,
said the elderly, wise man.

When the smiling, kind boy saw homeless people
he drew them a comfy fun home.
When he saw starving people,
he drew them a nice, tasty feast to eat.

Time is running out
I‘m getting worried,
Get together.
Every tiger will be gone!
Rescue them
Save them

Rescue,
Our tigers
Careless people,
Kill tigers for fun!

Girls need food but boys don’t ?
Boys need an education but girls don’t?
What year is it?1901?

Oh… it’s Victorian times
Old Vicky’s rain was good
It was the time of the Industrial Revolution
Children worked for over 4 hours a day
How would you feel about it?
