Harry is the hairiest
Eric is the elegant one
Archie is the weird one
Robbo is the rockstar
Amir is the best
These are my FRIENDS
Allsorts
I’m Not Born in August My Brother Is!
I’m not born in August, my brother is
Questions start to fizz.
“Your In August Right?” Is what they say to me!
“Your In October Right?” Is what they say to my brother!
I’m like – it’s the Other Way!
My Dad laughs and says she’s October and he’s August,
Whilst I’m sat watching Beautiful Bees.
HAHAHAHAHA!!! They always laugh,
Why not craft with me!?
All Sorts of Poems (part two)
In summer it’s as well you should,
Switch on the light before you sip,
For others actually could,
Be taking their midnight dip.
Plate-glass doors form a dangerous duo:
Never, when using them, try
To enter the place by the one marked TUO
To enter the place by the one marked NI.
The world is dark with rumours,
And things may happen to you.
Keep your handkerchief in your bloomers,
And the money in your shoe.
Don’t ask for automatic gears,
Or Worthington’s bass beers,
Or Scarborough’s or Brighton’s piers,
Or three or even fewer cheers.
Don’t ask for bandits’ bandoliers
Or Caliphs and their fat viziers;
Gazebos, ha-has, Belvederes,
Or rapids, waterfalls and weirs.
Sticks And Stones
Sticks and stones may break bones,
But,
Words will never hurt me.
When I get hit by a stick,
I say,
“Ouch that hurt,”
but,
I just get up and carry on.
I hope you will learn to do the same,
And just get up and carry on when you get hurt,
If it’s down the park or in school or up your friend’s house.
My Family
My family is here
who likes drinking beer?
the handlebars on by bike help me steer
I am also a pioneer
I listen for cars with my ear
it is a leap year
I hope I’m in the right gear
a ball is a sphere
I also hope I’m in the clear
I saw a deer
the end of the poem is near
and I like to cheer
it’s HERE
