Football

Football is a good game
It is very hard to score
But good players like Ronaldo, Messi, Kane
Likely to score many goals
The two important things you need to do are
Pass and find space.

Certainly!

I have a cat named Pat, she’s furry and always in a hurry
She always purrs and has brown fur
She has a tail and toes with big nails
She has two ears that she lifts to say cheers

The Interesting Story of Hospitals and Bracelets

0
by Rysha Thakkar aged 6

The thermometer was yelling, my fever was high!
The doctor did one blood test,
And then I went home,
The blood tests were unending!
Then, my mother got so many tests done,
Like dengue, typhoid and malaria,
Thankfully, all the reports were fine!

Then, I did not know that my mother
Would take me to the hospital,
She was worried,
They put a needle in my hand,
This was the dreaded drip!

They put a cannula,
Through which they put an injection,
And almost magically,
The medicine reached my veins!
It spread in my body,
Curing my sickness,

Once I was okay,
My drip was taken out,
My elder sister, Kaira
Made a paper bag for me
After I was hale and hearty,
I went on my trip
And enjoyed Spain,

Since the disease had gone,
I ate a lot of ice cream,
I visited two famous cities,
Barcelona and Madrid,

When we reached the airport,
My sister’s bracelet got lost!
She left her bracelet in the washroom,
And it was almost boarding time!

We did not take her bracelet,
On the way back home,
The bracelet had to stay in Abu-Dhabi,
Another city in Dubai

When My Sister Was in the Hospital

0
by Kaira Thakkar aged 9

When my sister was in the hospital
I felt a mixture of emotions
First, I was very sad
Then I made different things for her
To cheer her up
I made a paper bag,
And a hand-made book
I also brought
Some stamp-art for her

It was a strange feeling,
To not have my sister around
No one was troubling me

After some time,
I began to miss her
A little. Just a little.

When my sister became okay,
It all went back to normal
She was back by my side,
Troubling me, entertaining me
And making me laugh!

Friends

Some friends come up to you and say ‘Hi’ or ‘How are you?’
Whilst others say ‘Why are you here!?’ or ‘You don’t matter!’
It hurts you know.
You think about it for days, weeks or months
Thinking you’re the PROBLEM or ‘you’re NOT good enough.’
How could this be? How is this fair?
When the SASG (sassy, annoying, stupid girls) come up to you
and say something mean to you
you really really want them to feel the pain that they cause others.
You don’t know what to do next but…. cry.

Once upon a time there was a girl called Abi
She loved songs so she went to a karaoke place
Nobody was there
As soon as she stepped in a really creepy song started
and it went like this
Hi Abi we are the song people you are us come to us us us NOW…
Abi ran as fast as she could she was so scared
