Doughnuts

by Zakiyyah aged 8

Doughnuts, doughnuts
Sweet and delicious
If you like sweet then that is your pace
If parents don’t allow, then don’t you sulk
Just DREAM, don’t cry.

My Love for Nature

12
by Luke aged 10

I walk along the grass so green,
Flickering sticks of grass brush my bare feat
I notice that nature is an important thing
In our life now is cow’s milk
My love for cow’s milk is growing
but right now we are destroying nature
I look around
It’s killing me
At least Covid-19 is making nature heal
Hopefully after this crisis we can keep it that way
Please save our world, please save nature

Nature is Nice

by Khadijah aged 11

Nature is everywhere
Everywhere you go

Trees
Leaves
All things green
Nature, nature, sometimes it smells good
That’s my poem, I hope you were good

Days at Home

Days at home can be fun,
When you are playing in the sun.

I like playing with toys
Until they make some noise

On Easter Day

by Annabelle aged 9

Easter at home reminds me of all the fun,
Of games and my mom’s very special hot cross bun.
Decorating eggs and hiding them
Seeking and finding ,like a lost gem.
Yet we don’t forget the importance of this day
When the Lord came back after being taken away.

Slime

by Luke aged 10

Slime is yucky’ horrible and gooey
Whew likes slime if you like slime
You are really quite odd
But please don’t take this in offence
Yucky, yucky, yucky, yucky
Slime, you’re horrible and gooey

I hear it in my head
The noises are such a fright

It’s the best I could ever ask for
so I am gonna say

who made today today

Summer’s Day

1
by Jaxon Hornett aged 7

Shall I compare you to a summers day?
Thou art more lovely than a flower blooming in the sunlight.
Your eyes are like a light blue sea shimmering across the waves.
Your skin is silky smooth and lovely.
You are more colourful than the universe.
Your laugh is like a bird chirping to its mother.
Your hair is like golden silk, dripping down your back.
My heart is pumping for you like a racing car driving towards you.

dove in the sky
You fly so high,
in the wood
You are so good
you will stay
Forever and a day
you fly so high
Dove in the sky
