My poem wasn’t put up…

There was once a princess named Candy,
she was sugar-coated,
and because of that she also floated.
She would fly through the sky,
she would really try
to get your attention’
Let’s hope you don’t get detention!
This princess is fun but my rhyme is done.

Hello song,
Will you sing to me tonight?
Song replies
“I just might!”
The melody of the music is like a lullaby
No more will babies cry
Song sings with pride
That I’ve never heard before
Joy in it’s voice
I say, “More,more,more!”

Alexa has a rabbit
Called Cuddle,
And when she gets into bed at night,
She goes in for a snuggle with Cuddle.

Alexa is my sister,
And I’m proud of that,
But when we play together,
Our fights are not just chats!

Oh deer,
Will you be a dear and fetch your lovely wife?
We need to have a chat cos I think she stole my scythe!

Oh fox,
Will you climb out of the box and fetch your lovely wife?
We need to have a chat cos I think the stole my life!

Oh frog,
Will you jump and fetch your wife
We need to have a chat cos I think she stole my knife!

Present wrapping strewn on the floor,
Everywhere are presents galore,
Constant cards coming through the door,
This is the birthday I want!

What’s that present over there,
Unwrapped no tears anywhere,
It must be another from Aunt Claire,
Cos the paper is bare.

Bared papered presents are the worst,
But this one could be all the worth,
Opening and looking at first,
Then…
It’s a new T-shirt!

I just want to thank Mr Roger Stevens

This season is super cold
But there are many snowflakes you can hold
Icy air and frosty mist
Don’t forget tinsel on the shopping list

Let’s go out and build some snowmen
And also build an icy den
So much fun you can have with snow
The more exercise you do the more you will grow

Can’t wait for Christmas it’s too exciting
But Santa watching you can still be frightening
But he will bring you Christmas presents
And you can unwrap whilst eating roast pheasants

My little brother Jay,
is the best boy ever.
But sometimes he whines all day,
driving me crazy.

My other brother Tate,
winds me up all of the time.
He always forgets the date,
and plays Fortnite every day

I love my brothers dearly,
but sometimes I wish I was an only child.
