Spinosaurus was a real monster
Prickly body and as fierce as a tiger
In the past there were a lot
Nobody liked them as they were as scary as a monster
Oh no! Its teeth were as sharp as knives
Spinosaurus was as long as a school bus
As heavy as a lorry
Unfriendly and could
Run as fast as an electrical scooter
Ugly monster but we
Still love you!
I sent a letter to the Man on the Moon
I really hope he will reply soon
I got my telescope and zoomed in
He wears an old-fashioned shirt and a hat of tin
I sent a balloon to him
He sent it back – his name is Tim
Then 15 years later I got his letter reply
I am the Man on the Moon, sorry- goodbye
I am a grizzly bear, don’t come near me
I am very mean as you can see
I eat honey, jar after jar
I also deflate the tyres of a car
If you come near me I won’t be there to play
And if you do you might not see another day
I’ll mash you up and eat you for lunch
I and I’ll snack on your bones

Our family is a circle of love and strength,
with every birth and every union,
the circle grows, every joy shared
adds more love,
every crisis faced together,
makes the circle stronger.
Spending time without my family,
as hard as writing a poem with 3,000 lines,
as hard as finding your way around the world
with no Sat Nav or signs, sad times
My family is fun you see,
without them I can’t live happily,
sad thoughts come naturally, sad times.
I moan and groan,
I have plenty of space to roam,
still I feel alone, sad times.
Sat in the dark,
sat in the shade.
I feel like going to the beach today,
let me grab my bucket and spade.
Sat in the sun,
sat in the light.
I’m going to go home,
away from the sun, so bright.
Sat in the cold,
sat in the storm.
I’m going to have a holiday,
so warm!
Sat in the plane,
sat in the sky.
I feel like
I’m gonna fry!
Travelling home,
to my special place.
Finally where I began,
with my own space!
