in the air

everywhere
you can have them in a drink
you can have them in a bath
bubbles, bubbles
they make you laugh

I went on holiday,
and i’m certain that it was better than okay,
The sun was shining,
and I was dressed up in bling,

The sand was nice and soft against my feet,
and the food was presented nice and neat,
The water was as clear as ever,
and was just as good as the weather,

The night show was very entertaining,
and in the karaoke some people shared their passion to sing,
My room was ten times bigger than a tent,
Do you know where I went?.

I see the view,
I was down there on the ground,
Now I’m on the peak of the mountain.

I can see the trees,
Whispering away mysteriously.
The water trickles next to me.

How beautiful this all is,
Almost like a painting,
Each detail took so much time and care.

The low lands call
I am tempted to answer…

I love the feel of sand on my feet
and my brother I can beat
as I race across the beach
as I run though the water
my mum yells,” That’s my daughter”
I see the finish line and I try to go fast
I I knew I could win right from the start

I am in the Lakes
Everything is so beautiful,
Away from all the city life.

The breeze runs through my hair,
And I breathe in the fresh air,
So different to the oily smell in my own home.

I cannot believe,
The peace here,
No rumbling of cars,
I am so happy to be here.

It’s the end of summer, and school is about to start,
I, for sure, know the teachers will help us grow smart,
Everybody and I are excited to meet each other,
Through the school year, there are many things to discover,
We will learn about Anglo-Saxons, Vikings and Romans,
At the end of this topic, we will be history masters,
I’ve heard all the lessons are made great fun,
English, maths and science are taught under the sun,
It’s the end of summer, and school is about to start,
I, for sure, know the teachers will help us grow smart,
My new teacher is there to help, just trust me,
She is kind and generous, her name is Miss Petrie,
I’m excited to spend year 5 with my classmates and you,
I can’t imagine all the merry things we could do,

In the beginning the whole COSMOS
was just COOL AND CALM.
The elements in that nullity
never hoped of a future in that singularity.

But a WILD EMBER was there in the nucleus of that dot.
Aching to see the world unseen.
To disturb the equilibrium with its energy
and to bind everything in its synchrony.

The perpetual progression of the stress and strain exponentially
inflated the system around the ember to vast infinity.

The entropy finally settled the fire in it.

But threw away the remnant dot apart.
To construct a world of LAWS AND LINES.

Up in space there’s so much to see,
So read this poem and come with me.
Put on your helmets and suits,
Let’s definitely not forget the boots.
In a rocket we’ll go soon,
And maybe even go past the moon.
There’s planets galore,
And much much more.
I don’t think aliens are real,
but I guess that’s how I feel.
Like I said there’s so much to see,
Did you enjoy space with me?

Candy, how about popping candy
the way it explodes in your mouth
in a completely different way to popping popcorn.
Ah popcorn, my favourite.
The loud crunching sound between your teeth
and the smell when you first get it
it smells amazing.
Marshmallows, the delicious squish in your mouth
as you take the first bite into this full of sugar treat
bound to keep you up all night.
What about the chocolate from paradise island,
Bountys of course
the chocolatey case surrounding the coconut centre
one bite into one of these and it’s like you are on holiday.
