Let’s start of with Gryffindor
Yeah he got a lot bravery
But also not wearing defo not navy
Now moving to Slytherin
I think I’m about to diss it
Because there bond is like wicked witches
Think Ravenclaw is a bit of a navy sort
Ginny is jealous because they are rebellious

Memories

by Ananya Ghoshal aged 12

It is foolish to believe

That the good times never end

For they’ll soon be gone and over

Vanishing round the bend.

A flash of joy, laughter galore

Delightful though they may be

Time must pass, they shall not last

They’ll soon be history.

So cherish every second

Golden life, that it may be

Once experiences turn to dust

They’ll leave glorious memories

And if you truly wish it

You and those times need never part;

For they will always be there with you

Captured in your heart.

When in somber, solemn mood

Find these imprints of the past

And remember, though they are over

Their memories will last.

Delicate Winter / Fierce Winter / Gods of Winter

1
by Mark Dorey aged 9

Delicate winter

A slender icicle hanging from the frosted eaves
A fragile and thin layer of ice frosting over the pond
The intricate ice crystals, no two the same
The silence of fresh snow coating the sound like a blanket
A swan as graceful and white as the cold streaming wind

Fierce winter

An obliterating blizzard howling like a wolf
The cold northern wind cutting flesh like a knife
Hailstones pounding on you as if they were metal rain
Frostbite slithering up your toes and ears like a poison vine
Ice expanding, crushing rocks
Then winter starts to melt

A Big Bully

0
by Samiksha aged 9

There was a big bully,
In my school,
She used to bully me all day long,
She said I was a fool,
And my big red coat was a boy’s one,
That hurt me a lot,
I told the teacher but she said ignore her,
Until one day I thought….

I would tell my mom, her teacher and her mom,
That was all I could do,
I certainly wouldn’t do the same,
My mom got angry and I did too,
My teacher said go tell her teacher,
So I did,
She told her off but the big bully sniggered,
So she went to the head teacher Mrs. Sid,
She went home alone,
So I couldn’t tell her mom,
But the very next day she said,
You are so stupid and so dumb.

She didn’t know I was the smartest girl in class,
I couldn’t have it any more,
I shouted, “You are a big fat bully and leave me alone.”
Louder than me she swore!
Mrs. Sid was also outside,
She came to us and
Furiously she told us to get inside.

I told her what happened,
She got mad,
“I told you last time,
Now your banned!”
I felt happy,
Now that she was gone,
I still was angry and so was she,

And then she left.

Note: this is true but just the names and me saying that thing and her swearing isn’t real.
Please be KIND!!!!!!!!!

A Christmas Acrostic!

1
by Charlie Fill aged 9

Christmas trees are shining.
Happy hot chocolate.
Reindeer sparkling in the moonlight.
Inside Santa’s workshop, elves are racing round.
Santa stomping through the slippery snow.
The wooden nutcrackers lined up like soldiers.
Many minty merry presents.
Amazing crunchy refreshing gingerbread men.
Snowmen shimmering.

Not so Invisible

0
by Yesha K. aged 11

I’m invisible…
Not only to the world but to myself.
If only someone noticed me, my talent.
Then I would get confidence to open to the world.
My larva concealed me from the world.
Each day I wait and wait for my time to hatch and show my beauty to the world.
But it never comes…
I walk across the hall only to get knocked down 100 times.
But… I still get up.
Every day I have hope, that my time to shine will come.
I never give up because I know it will.
Someday… if not today then tomorrow if not tomorrow then the day after.
Then me, the invisible man will be….Not so Invisible.
