there was once a puppy
he was cute and adorable
he rolled over for me
and jumped for her
he was a talented pup
but ran away soon
he never came back
but I look up to him too
save the animals
they have fear of us
we are killing them
so save them we must
we need to save them
stop killing them and more
protect our animals
and make Earth a happier place
The sky is blue
The earth is green
But all I see is smoke
I run so far
Trying to get away from the roar
The roar of fire
Bursting out in front of me…
The fire fighters travelling from all over the world
When they heard the word
Just to come and save
the Australian bush fires in a swirl.
Why popularity?
The taste of behaviour
The lack of nature
To be one in disguise
Who the real one despise
The true feeling of freedom
Covered up with a lack of sight.
There’s no wrong or right
To be the bright
To be the one who stands out in the night.
Why popularity?
Why do you CARE what other people think?
Why do you CARE how someone sees you?
Why do you CARE if you’re popular or not?
And I ask you again, WHY popularity?
In a couple of years they won’t matter
In a couple of years you will be the star who stands out wherever you go
So be you!
Don’t listen what someone has to say only to criticise you,
To make you feel down
To make you frown
Why popularity?
Why waste your time trying to be someone else?
Why waste your time trying to put your feet in someone else’s shoes?
Time is priceless
Time is gold
I’ve once been told
The Earth has rolled
The kids are trolled
Your minds are sold
To a dimension where you aren’t accepted
Until you are perfected
So, why popularity?
Coronavirus is a global crisis.
If you want to go out, think twice, wear a mask, be wise.
It’s important to stay safe at all-time.
The virus spreads very quickly
and it makes people very sick.
Some people will be in a hospital bed
others will end up dead.
We must not mix in large crowds
and parties are definitely not allowed.
Nobody wants to close the school
therefore we must follow the rules.
Stuck in a global crisis
got to make sacrifices
a worldwide pandemic
that’s what we are living through
a whole epidemic
right in front of you
Dwell indoors
you can’t ignore
the deaths have risen
no idea what’s the mission
I thought we had to be hidden
but will it ever end is the question
Can’t beat the virus
endure the silence
misplaced the patience
now out on the street
I thought we agreed
to stay far
it’s all so bizarre
glued to our phones
all has flown
now it’s up to us
to fight the threat
but ask the big question
will it ever end?
The ocean is important, especially to this world
Its shiny waters sparkling with all its pearls
If you come across the ocean and its features
you will most likely see some of its living creatures
The ocean is beautiful, as you know
with all its living creatures and their sparkly glow
But not everything is all okay down under
because if you look closer you can see where the pollution plunders.
Sea creatures are dying because of all this pollution
but thankfully there are people who have come up with a solution.
You can go on living and doing your normal cycle
but all that we ask of you to do is to go and recycle.
Maybe you can do even more to try and help your peers
You can go to a polluted beach near and help by being a volunteer.
In the Springtime budding trees
Are teeming full with buzzing bees
In the breeze grass softly swaying
Happy children now are playing
The birds swoop madly in the sky
Like arrows there they swiftly fly
Building nests in trees and bushes
A busy time for jays and thrushes
In Summertime the sun is glowing
The plants and flowers are blissfully growing
Butterflies flutter from bloom to bloom
Tasting the flowers’ sweet perfume
Lazy days are long and bright
Lasting well into the night
The hum of insects in the heat
Are a constant, droning beat
In Autumn time the fallen leaves
Are a golden blanket under the trees
The squirrels madly gather food
To make sure they can feed their brood
The blustery winds whirl all around
Sweeping all across the ground
The days grow shorter, cold and dark
The naked trees are bold and stark
In Wintertime the ice and snow
Are diamonds with their glittering glow
All is barren, cold and still
Hiding from the gloomy chill
The animals are hid away
In cosy burrows there they stay
Dreaming of the Winter’s end
Knowing Spring will come again
