My Father Answers No

by Sherdil Asif aged 8

My father glows,
whilst wearing his bow
in the cinema row
But sometimes in anger he says no.
I don’t like it when he feels low.
He also likes to grow,
He calls his brother “Bro”
He asks his father for an iPhone 12 pro,
Everytime he goesto the park he sees a crow
He walks very slow.
One day everyone said, Tell us the rhyming words of show.
He said, Let me finish this poem by answering no!

Come on take the vaccine
Our planet needs you all
Run from other people, don’t come near
On the desk put a sanitizer
Next to your family always
Avoid staying next to people and wear mask

My parents can’t leave me alone

I can’t even leave the bathroom
because i wash my hands every second
I hope you enjoyed this
because I need to go and wash my hands

“Foolish what we really wanna know is
how you join the syndicate?”
Well I heard about the egg
I joined the omelette lore
I may hate fighting
but I hate the egg even more
I found the blood god
And he promised a golden rod
Joined, then the egg
Started to beg!

New Teacher

by Sherdil Asif aged 8

There was a new teacher in our class,
Who was as green as grass,
Hard as brass,
Transparent as glass,
Fierce as a lion,
Bold as a superhero,
Cold as snow,
As I know.

I hope covid 19 stops
and we stop littering in the world.
We should work as a team to stop racism
and the spread of covid 19.
I hope people will get better in hospital,
and we all keep safe in the world.

Minecraft I love
No doubt about it
Exploring, building and fighting creepers
Zombies and skeletons roaming around for hours
A fun time for everyone

Siblings’ Connections

by BIlel aged 11

Siblings care for each other
Sometimes they fight
I know
But they still are a sister or brother

They help when in need
Without a single brushstroke of greed,
They help each other
And the other won’t mind be bothered,
To do the same thing or be the one to
weed.
