Love for a Special Someone

Love for a special someone
Far away but close in my heart
I am broken with no love for anyone

You are
The diamond on my ring
The shooting star I made a wish upon
The person I need in my life

Love for a special someone
Nowhere near me but…
Near me in my heart.

Story

Dear diary
today has been a good day
I had lots of fun outside playing on my hover board.
I fell of it but I am in one piece still
thankfully I am okay
I will be more careful next time
How it happened was I crashed into a fence

And I played on my computer
it was quiet happy because I got a new keyboard
because my other one broke

In the afternoon
I went to school
It was a good day

I got 8 out of 8 in my spellings
I was very happy about that because
I usually don’t get 8 out of 8
and I got 144 out of 144 in my times tables

Doris the Plant

Doris the plant is an unusual sight
She’ll sleep all day and sleep all night
Doris has leaves that stick out of the soil
And her stem is as shiny as tin foil
She lives in a pot that is white and grey
Watching and waiting for what comes her way
Doris is a plant that is shiny and new
Maybe you’ll get to meet her too!

Night Sky

When the sun is going down
And the dusk isn’t far
You level up my joy
And things go bizarre

I see stars all around you
And wonder about its mystery
And that bright moon of yours,
What is its engrossing history?

I see you light up the sky
Bring smiles on our faces
All our tears dry
With your gift of joy

Your fascinating sapphire looks
Gives unlimited glee
You enlighten the night sky
But every morning, why do you flee?

A Little Bit of Food

A little bit of pancake,
A little bit of cake,
But I don’t know what to make.

A little bit of orange,
A little bit of juice,
A little lunch,
Won’t hurt,

A little bit of rice,
A little bit of spice,
If I get it wrong
I will feed it to the mice

Summer Flavors

Watermelon,
Ice pops,
Lemonade!

These are the
Flavors that
Have been made

Berries,
Pop-corn,
S’mores!

These are the
Flavors that
Your mouth explores.

Chocolate,
Graham crackers,
Marshmallows,

These are the
Flavors that
Make up one word

Summer!

Dhar Man

After watching his videos
I thought I will spread the words of it
With pride and pleasure.
Now I hope the word and Earth can be a better place
not just for us but for the least fortunate
We can fight for kindness and love
to all of our friends and family.
You should never ever judge a book by its cover.

RIP

My dismal death, you inspire me to write.
How I love the way you die, weep and cry,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the somber sky.

Let me compare you to a depressed bay.
You are more jolly and melancholy
Sad breezes flap the poly-dancers of May,
And the springtime has the clad bialy.

How do I love you? Let me count the ways.
I love your mystic knife, sadness and blood.
Thinking of your glad sadness fills my days.
My love for you is the manifest mud.

Now I must away with a sombre heart,
Remember my mad words whilst we’re apart.

Fighter Jet Poem

Faster than trains, faster than planes,
Over the clouds and under the birds,
Over the countries and over the world,
What could it be?
A fighter jet pane.

Polly and Molly

by Ella aged 9

Her name is Polly
She has a dolly
She named it Molly
Molly and Polly love to be silly
When they were silly they were chilly
As chilly as they were, they still wore
red frilly dresses like a Molly and a Polly
