I put a spell on my sister
and then my mum’s mister said
why would you do that?
She might fizzle like smoke or sizzle like coke
or fly in the air or grow really long hair
She might ping like a spring
so I say I don’t care
but then I see a whisp of dark brown hair
It’s mom, oh no, oh yes, sissy cries
Oh lord please help me I cried to thee
I pray just tell me that I’ll see
the light of another day
My mum shouts Eva, what have you done?
Look she’s inflated like a balloon
and looks like she’ll turn into big fat baboon

The Cycle of the Seasons
A new year, a new spring
the blue tits in the trees sing
the clocks change, the sun stays
the lambs skip through the emerald green fields
the luscious trees will will blossom, the magnolias will bloom
the bees are buzzing
Spring is here!
A Poem Against Pollution
A litle flower blooming
Oceans always flowing
Shining bright with lots of light
Dreaming a world without plastic
Or making it into toys that are elastic
A revolution against pollution
May be we can use EVs for transportation
Stop cutting trees please!
Or else no oxygen will release!
The Star
A white star in the evening glow
looked to the round green world below
and saw a pool in a wooded place
that held like a jewel her mirrored face
She said to the pool, Oh, wondrous deep,
I love you, I will give you my light to keep
Oh, more profound than the moving sea
that never showed myself to me!
Oh, fathomless as the star is far
hold forever you tremulous star!
but out of the woods as night grew cool
The Cheer Tryouts
The cheer tryouts are soon
I am so nervous, yet I will
stand strong
My schedule is filled
I don’t know how I’m going to sleep
The cheer tryouts are soon
I’m not as nervous, I believe I will make it
The practice is too hard
I know that I’m not going to make it far
The cheer tryouts are soon
I’m not going to make the team, I’m sure
It’s time for the mock tryouts
This is intense–so much pressure
The real tryouts are soon
I’m doubting myself if this is a good idea
I’m not going to make it, I’m sure
Today is the day, that I will fail
So many thoughts running through my head,
mocking me for who I want to be
making me stumble onto the stage
It’s my turn, I’m second
I feel I did horribly
The day passed, I will find out how I did
I told my mom not to expect much
that I will be a disappointment
Then we got the results
The air is full of suspense, making the oxygen dense,
I can hardly breathe
I don’t know whether I made it or not
We opened the envelope
I can’t believe it, I passed the cheer tryouts
I guess I can’t doubt myself
after all
I guess I can’t bring myself down because of insecurities
because of insecurities
So never doubt yourself
because of challenges you face
Never bring yourself down
because of your insecurities
Because no one
is perfect
So be the best version of you
that you can be.
The Storm
Rain, rain,
Lashing, crashing, down on the trees, at its knees, under the trees,
Are the orang-u-tans watching the sea,
Whilst the sea shows her fury,
The rain…
Splashes…
Bashes…
Down…
And down at the trees.
Wind, wind,
Swirling around just like a tornado ripping around,
Pounding down at the sea, picking up sand from the beach,
Swirling, twirling, in the breeze, is the wind being a queen.
BANG, BANG,
Goes the storm,
Fighting with the thunder as if it’s life or death!
Growling down at the sea,
It’s the fight of a century.
Wonderful Pets
Pets can be dogs
Who love us
And offer silent support
In times of sadness.
Pets can be cats,
Who love us too,
They urge us on,
Making sure we achieve our goals.
Pets can be hamsters,
Who make sure we are alright at night,
When we are asleep,
But they are awake.
Pets can be fish,
Who let us watch their soothing movements,
Making sure we are alright,
Even if we never notice.
Pets can be birds,
Who fly,
And some come in twos,
Like those birds who love,
Who are named lovebirds
Or those who come alone,
But love to be with you,
And can be trained to go on your finger,
Who are named budgies.
Pets can be reptiles,
Slowly moving,
Making sure we don’t go too fast.
All pets are wonderful,
Watching us when we are there,
And waiting for us to return when we are gone.
The Cliffs Of Nature
The cliffs of nature are long
Long and beautiful
They are only there for me
Only I can see them
They are so beautiful
They are grey with wonderful green on top
And dark green pines
It isn’t mine
It is nature’s
Only I can see it, yet it’s nature’s.
The cliffs of nature are warm.
