Cannons shot on the vast land;
Soldiers lay rotting on the earth’s crust
As I walk through a field of poppies
What once was where soldiers lay
Shells raining, soldiers lay dying, gas filled this rotten hell
The Brit’s ate the Germans, shelled the French rebelled
The start of the war war was persuasive
Every man joined as if it was a game
But you my friend, you would not understand
The old lie – Ducle est decorum pro Patria mori
It is sweet and right to die for your country.

I am not king
I am not a god
I am the one
The one on the black hood that no one ever sees
You only see me at night
Wondering around the streets
Thinking who am I
While you sleep
I am up
Making you wonder
Who is that wondering around the street
In a black hoodie
I’m there
Always there
As I said
I am not a king
I am not a god
I am the most known person on the planet
Yet no one has seen my face
I am the mysterious man
That nobody knows

The majestic lion is the king of the jungle,
When he walks, all you hear is “Rumble, rumble.”
While he strides, all stop to look at him,
And his eyes widen slightly just by the rim.

But when he is angry, he is something to fear,
The slightest sound of an animal won’t escape his ear.
All the colour drains out of the animal’s frightened face,
It’s just him and the afraid animal and he starts the chase!

The lion can run as fast as a hare,
So he can run quickly back to his lair.
But to go near him, an animal won’t dare,
If it did, well it would not fare!

The lion is at the top of the food chain,
It survives in the Savannah, where it won’t rain.
Maybe sometimes he will stay in the plain,
But he is short for sure, much shorter than a crane!

The lion for sure is great,
It would get 10/10 on a rate,
Sometimes it is a blaze of fire,
If it catches you for a snack though, the consequences will be dire!

She is known to be my sister,
She is known to be kind,
She is known to be a teenager,
She is known to be eager,
She is known to be Shifa!

I was relaxed,
I was watching a horror movie at night,
It was scary but surprisingly fun,
The movie was called ”Annabelle Creations”
It was about a scary dead doll who killed people discreetly,
The way it came to haunt people,
Was the exact reason it haunted me at night,
And that’s why I never turn off the light,
I went to bed after watching that doll haunt people,
lights off,
bloody eyes,
scary doll,
coming towards me,
I was terrified!
AAAAAA!
It turned out that it was a nightmare,
The most horrifying one ,
and that’s the time I promised myself,
NEVER watch a scary movie!

I was happily reading,
and suddenly the bulb fused
I tried to reach to the bulb
but I simply couldn’t
and then I fell and got bruised,
that’s why I never fixed a bulb which was fused

Ridiculous Rosie reads to reluctant reptiles,
Misbehaving Masie munches mysterious monkeys,
Incredible Izzy inspires itchy iguanas,
Zany Zoe zooms to zebra zoos,
Lively Leia loudly licks lime lollipops,
Crazy Chloe collects crumbly cucumbers .

Grey grass under blood and flesh
on a lifeless mass.
No Mercy to be found
You may as well turn back now.
Upcoming enemy with spears and swords
and all the likes.
You tremble in fear against the upcoming horde.
But you still go forth.

A painful scar is left, yet you feel like it is a broken leg.
Dewdrop tears stream down your innocent face.
You have one to blame and one to punish.
But will they lie out of it
like a snake in the Savannah
faced with a tiger
or will you manage to win the merciless fight?
You have but a scar to prove yourself
Will you give it a shot
or will you stay out of the fight?
You go and see if you can succeed…
