Christmas is a great time of year

The vast forest
The place we call modest
Growing smaller and smaller
While we earn every dollar

The birds fly away
And we sit there waiting for doomsday
But it is closer than we think

As we wait for a change
Others declare outrage
If we don’t try
The world will run dry

Let us create a better future
So, get off your computer

we have to beat the bus, it’s a contest!

Don’t worry, we will get there on time
We are gonna go fast, it’s a crime
Mum, I think I have a headache
Wait mum, I forgot, It’s Christmas break!

Why war?
An endless fight,
A monotonous feeling,
And it’s never right.

Why war?
It’s truely foul,
Glorification of death,
Sounds of bombing howl.

Why war?
Families suffer,
Separation of families,
No respect for each other.

Why war?
To die for your country?
Why do people encourage murder?
And pay for the mistakes of the monarchy?

Why war?
If you don’t enlist you’re a ‘coward’
But if you do you’re dead, not empowered.

Who am I?
That is a good question.

Just within
Sometimes I’m bright
Sometimes dim
Sometimes out
Sometimes in

I am sometimes high
Sometimes low
Sometimes dark
Sometimes I glow

Sometimes happy
Sometimes sad
Sometimes joyful
Sometimes mad

Sometimes I’m brave
Sometimes scared
Sometimes willing
Sometimes dared.

Wow! Sometimes a lot
Sometimes none
So many feelings
To just pick one
