I am a reindeer, part of Santa’s team,
I fly so high I make the sky beam .
I’m not like the other reindeers
I’m the outsider of them all.
I’m always the last one picked
when Santa makes his call.
Every year Santa selects
his best 12 reindeer
but I’ve gone 20 years as a substitute
WHY AM I STILL HERE?
But even though I don’t fit in
I’M THE BEST REINDEER
AT SPREADING CHRISTMAS CHEER!

Sometimes I can’t not wonder
what it would be like if I myself was an elf?
Would I have pointy ears?
Would I have a small head and a big beard?
Would I be little and jolly?
Would I be named after a holly?

One day I woke up and I was all of the above
Was I human
Could I still feel when I’m in love?
But I sat there like a proper elf on the shelf
then realised ,
I MYSELF AM AN ELF!

Christmas is an amazing
magical time of year
to spread lots and lots and lots
of CHRISTMAS CHEER!

Put on your spacesuit,
we’re going to the moon.
Climb aboard your spaceship,
we’re going to blast off soon.
Put on your helmet,
strap yourself in tight.
Check your controls and instruments,
get ready for the flight.
Time for your journey,
The countdown has begun.
Here we go, get ready, get set,

It’s that time of year.
There are 12 days of year 7 left,
I’m sad it’s over. But happy for the holidays.
I’m scared for year 8, but excited for it as well.
This time of year is crazy and there is so much to say.
