Allsorts

Dragons are majestic creatures,
some breath fire, some ice
some dragons fly!
some are nice.

Some dragons eat fruit, most eat meat,
some live in mountains, some by the sea.

But the best part,
is their warm heart,
no matter flower nor art,
they still have their spark.

I wake up in our tent
I feel warm and cosy
Indie is crunching her cereal
I get out of bed for a nosey

After breakfast I put my togs on
I hear the river rushing
I hop in and it is cold
I hear all the kids fussing

We swam all day and now it is night
I have dinner
It is windy and the tent is flapping
We play board games and I am the winner

I am in my sleeping bag
I hear the penguins cooing
Grownups are laughing and joking
Tomorrow I know what I will be doing

STOP litterin’
find a bin,
and put it in.

People hate brown skin
People hate adopted people
You’re bad at maths or English
You give up on yourself
But then you believe in yourself
you got it
You’re the best of yourself

A world of art, you can draw anything
make to programs,
make a story
do whatever you want
with anime!
It’s fun, it’s grown up, it’s kiddy!
You could design your

Merrily strolling into school,
Waiting for it to start,
Everyday is an adventure,
Even if I feel quite smart!

The gringing of the sharpners,
Pupils groaning for an age,
Scratching of the pencils,
Writing on a page!

Squeaking of the whiteboard pen,
The clever teacher talking,
The smacking of someone’s strong feet,
Them getting up and walking!

Children chattering nonstop,
Into the dining hall they go,
Anyone would think,
There was a huge row!

The clock slowly ticking,
Everyone starts to complain,
The pitter-patter
Of it starting to rain!

People shouting and talking,
The thudding of the ball,
The squeaking of the trainers,
Happiness for all!

This is me
my name is Zainab
I like cats
I like to draw
I like to play in the park
I like to play with my friends
I love my life
and that is me

I was on this when I was younger
and I wrote my own poem like this
and it got published so I want to thank you all
for this

We’re killing the Earth
And that’s really no fun
No one believes us
Because we are young

Forests are turning
To ash, ask California
They’ll tell you about it
How they’ve lost all their homes

While Trump turns a blind eye
And tweets on his phone
No one is helping
Do you realise

This began in 1985?
Dear 2045
I don’t think
We’re going to survive

If you end up
Hearing this story
I just want to say
I’m sorry

Everyone has to care for others
although they are not at your level.
You have to find the love in your heart,
the love that you have for sharing.
When you show the love you have inside of you,
you will also show that you care for others
and that you are kind.
Everyone will also care for you
and love you in their own way.
So, go and take all your love with you
and share it with others.
And they will share their love and kindness
with you.
