Where Zebras Go

Well done everyone who entered this competition. You can read the winning poems (and the best of the rest) by going to “Poems” and scrolling down to “Competition Entries.” Watch out for a new competition starting soon.

For our summer competition we are featuring Sue Hardy-Dawson’s brilliant Where Zebras Go. In Sue’s book you can, among other things, question a snake, talk to a toad, learn twenty ways to avoid monsters and, of course, find out where zebras go.

We have six copies to give as prizes. All you have to do is send us a poem about an animal or animals. It can be about any kind of animal – about insects, fish, birds, small animals, huge animals… it can be funny, silly, sad or serious… long or short, rhyming or non-rhyming… in any style. It’s up to you.

Write your poem in the competition box below. And make sure you include your email address so that we can contact you if you win. You don’t have to be come from the UK to enter but poems must be in English. And you must be aged between 3 and 18 years old to enter. Poems MUST be your own work.

The six winners, plus the best of the poems entered will be featured here in September. The competition closes on September 1st 2017. Good luck!
