The Funniest Stuff by Colin West (Matador)

I love Colin West’s comic work and nonsense rhymes. It is so reassuringly childish, with a nod to Lear and AA Milne, it brightens up your day. This hardback collection of some of his funniest poems is one to buy and keep. Coupled with his illustrations it is all a bit healthily old-fashioned in a timeless, never-goes-out-of date way. Fantastic and funny and suitable for everyone, aged five to one hundred.
