The Fox and the Hen.

by William Weir aged 7 1/2

One hundred years ago there was a hen who lived in a pen.
Now in the pen there was a very big den that the hen
loved so much that he slept in it every night and never
slept in his coop! Then there was the hen’s gloopy food
which was called ticer that slopped over his bowl.
The hen liked his den which, was of coarse in his pen.
One day, the hen decided to go out of the farm to collect
some more sticks for his den. On the way there, he met
a fox. Then the fox took the hen to his home where he
ate up the hen.
