And you can win a copy if you’re aged 6 or under. Simply send us a poem about travelling. It can be about walking to school and what you saw, about your favourite car, about a trip on the bus with grannie or flying in a spaceship to visit Mars. Your poem can be any length and in any style. We have three copies of this beautifully designed hardback book to give away as prizes for the best three poems.

You can win this book if you are aged 7 to 18. Just send us a poem about your favourite time in history. Your poem can be in any style. It can be serious or sad or funny.The best ten poems will win copies of this fantastic book.

Write your poem in the competition box below. And make sure you include your email address so that we can contact you if you win. You don’t have to be British or come from the UK to enter but poems must be in English. And you must be aged between 3 and 18 years old to enter. Poems MUST be your own work.

The best of all the poems entered will be shown in The Poetry Zone at the beginning of May. The competition closes on May 1st, 2016.  Good luck!
